About Us

I am just a guy with a passion for remote control airplanes and I spend all my time designing, fixing and flying.

Driven by innovation and the stride for improvement.

I’ve been building, testing and flying RC airplanes for almost 5 years now and have been making amphibious floats for over 3.

Each and every float with its own unique characteristics and strengths has helped me learn what is necessary and what is not needed.

Your Questions, Answered

  • We specialize in making floats for rc airplanes and insuring a better than “stock” option for those who just want better but we can also design and make just about anything you can think of.

  • I do believe there are some good foam floats but they are far and few between, the whole reason I chose to design and make my own floats was to eliminate the bad on water performance of the foam floats, with better floatation and on water handling you cant find a more scale float set.

  • Install is identical to a foam set making the first step easy, these floats do weigh a bit more than the foam ones so a CG check is required, but after that its all cut and dry. These floats will absolutely change the way you water fly forever, they actually roll onto step, they almost completely eliminate proposing. Want to land at speed and not bounce? These are the floats for you.

  • You can reach us anytime via our contact page or email. We aim to respond quickly—usually within the same business day.

  • We try to make pricing as fair and as reasonable as possible, obviously all the components for retracts are expensive and so we do offer a “straight float” option for people who want great water handling without the cost and weight of the amphibious ones.

  • All our floats are designed to be able to be converted in seconds, its cheaper to manufacture a float designed to be amphibious and just sell a different retract housing based on the customers needs, contact us for a set of amphibious gear or dummy housings, that just click right on and are ready for use. An open channel on the receiver is required for gear operation

  • For a 33” float they are 998g without retracts, for an amphibious set they are around 1468g. You will notice a deference in flying characteristics but its almost guaranteed to improve flight and lower the CG as well handle on the water like a real airplane.

  • Our floats use an adapter bracket to be used on any airplane within the weight class or wingspan requirement, these floats have been assembled and tested on the following aircraft but can be used on any airplane with a wingspan of 1.4-2.0m. Turbo Timber EVO, Twin Timber, Super Timber, FMS 1500mm Cessna 182, and the Avios twin otter.
